Children in Need 2008

Friday 20th November 2008

Pensby High School for Girls

This year we are supporting on Children in Need.

We would like you all to think of something different to do! This may be in school on Children in Need day, or in your own time. You could get sponsored for doing something or collect money another way. It can be anything you like, big or small, whatever you do will make a difference.

Here are some ideas to get you started.

  • A sponsored sleepover, a sponsored “stay awaker” or a sponsored “don't yawner.”
  • Bake some cakes or biscuits to sell at school
  • Give manicures, make-overs and hairstyling sessions.
  • A sponsored tidy up
  • A sponsored silence

To stay safe, please

  • Get sponsored by people you know
  • Do not collect money from strangers or in the street
  • Most of all ENJOY!

If you would like to participate or would like a sponsor form, please can you come and see Mrs Fildes or Mrs Edwards in Room 3a.

"Children in Need’s mission is to positively change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people in the UK. Our vision is a society where each and every child and young person is supported to realise their potential"
