Cashless School Meals System

On 23 February 2009 the school introduced a new Biometric, cashless school meals system.

The methods of payment include:

(a) Cheque made payable to ‘SODEXO’ via the Catering Office to cover any period eg whole term, half-term, month or week - or a fixed monetary amount of your own choice. A post box to receive payments is located in the main dining room.

To enable the catering office to identify the pupil account in which to place the cheque payment, please write the pupil(s) full name and form on the reverse of the cheque. If the payment is to be shared between two pupils, identify both with full name and class group.

(b) By cash and/or notes into an automatic cash revaluation terminal located in the school dining rooms which are set to accept £20 £10 £5 notes £2 - £1 - 50p - 20p - 10p coins. (1p – 2p – 5p coins, cannot be used).

(c) Online payments by Parent Pay are also available. This is a secure online method of payment and is a convenient way to pay for school meals in advance. This method of payment can be used now using your secure log-in details which were sent to you before half-term.

Cashless systems are used successfully by many schools throughout the country and are a convenient way to pay for pupils’ school meals.
