Happy Girls Achieve Again at Pensby!

Students at Pensby High School for Girls Business & Enterprise and Science Specialist College are celebrating another year of consistently high results.

A’ level pass rates have risen significantly to almost 95% this year and special congratulations goes to A’ level student Cathleen Meehan who achieved 4 A grades and goes on to study French at Merton College, Oxford.

At GCSE level girls are celebrating another set of successful results consistent with our normal high standards and expectations.

Mrs Pat Russell, Headteacher said : “We are extremely proud of our students’ success which is attributed to their hard work combined with the dedication and high expectations of staff and the support of parents. This has been an excellent year following on from our 3rd consecutive “Outstanding” judgement from Ofsted. Congratulations to all students, but especially 21 of our girls who achieved not just 5 but 10 or more exceptionally high GCSE grades”
