Media Marketing competition – in the summer a cross curricular group of students from media, business, technology and graphics were invited to address a ‘real’ problem for a holiday marketing company.
The task was to market and promote actual villas in Turkey for a company called "Turkish Homes 4 Less". The pupils worked in teams and used appropriate ICT and presentation techniques to prepare their work and then presented it to parents, teachers and the directors of the company one evening in the summer.
A winning team of four was chosen and their prize is a holiday in the villas that they were promoting for one week with their families. The girls were praised extensively for their skill and professional approach to the task.
