STARCHASER Nova 2 Rocket Visit

Thursday 30th April 2009

We are extremely privileged to be one of only a small number of schools nationwide participating in a very unique and exiting project - the Starchaser Rocket Schools Fellowship. The Starchaser Nova 2 rocket will be launched from Morambe Bay in November and will qualify as the BIGGEST ROCKET ever flown from the UK mainland as it will be more than 35% bigger than the current record holder, Nova 1 which visited Pensby back in June 2005.

The Nova 2 rocket is visiting us on Thursday 30th April and pupils grom Years 7 to 10 will have the opportunity to watch a presentation about the Nova2 project, to see the rocket close up and take part in a question and answer session.
