National Chemistry Week

The RSC Chemistry Week is a themed week of events that is held every two years to promote a positive image of chemistry and increase the public understanding of the importance of chemical science in our everyday lives.

This year's theme is 'Food'. Activities will be organised throughout the UK and Ireland to demonstrate the vital role of chemistry in providing healthy and sustainable food.

On Tuesday 10th November, twenty Year 10 girls went to The University of Liverpool for a “Carbohydrates Masterclass”.
