Children's Parliament

Last term four Year 7 girls attended the "Children's Parliment on the Environment" at Wallasey Town Hall.Annabel Webster, Olivia McIvor, Chloe Powell and Emily Berg took part in a debate entitled "Fair Trade Versus Local Produce"The overall decision made by the parlimant was that it was always good to use Fairtrade products but to use local produce as much as possible too. Six schools took part, Pensby Girls gained 2nd prizeThey were presented with their certificates by Mr Steve Maddox, Chief Executive of Wirral Borough Council.
