Pensby Girls has its very own record label!

Pensby High School for Girls has joined the growing trend of having its very own online record label. 9ER have been working on a new project in music called Musical Futures and part of that project has been to create and upload compositions to an online record label. Some pupils from 8JD and 8KV have also now joined the label.

So far, there have been five compositions uploaded and the artists are slowly but steadily climbing up the hip hop charts.

Eventually everyone in the school will have a chance to join the record label and upload their compositions and the girls will takeover the management of the label. Any performances during music lessons and concerts will be recorded and uploaded.

In addition to musical compositions the girls can maintain a blog and upload any artwork that has gained approval from the publishers. At the moment MR W in music and Miss C in ICT are the publishers.

So Girls, if you want to get your work exposed to the online community, speak to Mr W or Miss C.
